Polish developer Studio Exor has released a new hybrid of action and strategy, X-Morph: Defense. The trailer was released in August 2017. Game Tower combines shooter with defense-style strategy and top view.
You can play it as a player or in a couple of split-screen modes. This is very easy because one player can build a tower, while the other can shoot at enemies or they can focus on shooting at attackers together.
Athletes act as alien invaders, aiming to seize the earth’s natural resources with the help of weapons from various alien sources of protection and attack. The most versatile is a plasma fighter capable of destroying both air and ground devices. Dark meter bombers can be used to destroy ground units as well as to terraform the surface of the planet. There is no set time in the game, which allows players to estimate the location of enemy forces and plan defenses before the battle.
The possibility of environmental destruction will help build defensive towers and create a maze in which you can lure the enemy anywhere on the map. Destroying various buildings is possible not only to strengthen the defense but also for pure entertainment. All human cities will be destroyed.
In the game, you can use protection strategies, which have not been used in any previous game in the style of action. People try to protect their planet in any way they can and build fighting machines that they threw into the fight against the invaders. The purpose of X-Morph is to cut courses at key locations on the planet. After fixing the kernel, the player unlocks new features and updates.
