Rumour: EA Marvel's next superhero game is unannounced

Rumour: EA Marvel’s next superhero game: Currently, there is speculation that EA is working on an unannounced Marvel game of some sort, as there aren’t enough Marvel games on the marketplace.

Several Marvel Comics superhero games are currently in development at the time of this writing. Even with the cancellation of the Marvel MMO, there is still a slew of projects in the works. According to a rumour, EA may also have a new Marvel game in the works that we can add to the mix.

In August, Spider-Man Remastered will be released, and Miles Morales will be added in 2022. Meanwhile, Insomniac is hard at work on Spider-Man II and Wolverine. Take a deep breath and get ready for August! It’s out in October, Midnight Suns, and the former Uncharted lead is working on a Marvel game that may be Daredevil or the Fantastic Four.

It’s now been revealed that “EA is producing a Marvel game” as well, according to the XboxEra Podcast and Shpeshal Nick (nick Baker). While Nick made it clear that this is simply a rumour, he appears to know about the specific Marvel IP it is rumoured to be about and intends to check with his own EA sources about it.

Nick Baker’s forecasts and rumours, such as the Gears of War collection and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for Fortnite, have not yet come to fruition. However, some predictions and rumours from Nick Baker have, such as the 2021 release of a Quake remaster. The team’s debate may be found here, beginning at 1:30:23 minute.

Take this with a grain of salt, because even Baker doesn’t appear to have enough knowledge to make a judgement.

While EA has various Star Wars titles in development at Respawn, including the recently released Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and an unnamed strategic game from XCOM creators, the company does not hold any other Disney-owned IP.
