Codemasters and Electronic Arts have released the F1 2021 game, available on Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms, via Steam.
The newest edition of F1 focuses on the teams, drivers and circuits of the 202 Formula One World Championship. The game introduces a new Story mode, a Career mode – extended with the option for two players – and three new circuits – Portimão, Imola and Jeddah. The latter are available for free to all players in the form of accessible content after release.
In Braking Point, the new Story mode story, players experience the F1 world as they progress through the Formula 2 rankings and have the chance to make the move to Formula 1.
Extended Career mode introduces a co-op option, allowing friends to play on the same team or duel, competing against each other.
The Career mode also offers the Real-Season Start option, which allows players to start their careers at any time of the season, with updated rankings in real time for drivers and builders.
On next-gen consoles, the F1 2021 benefits from improved models and textures. Performance Mode allows the game to run at over 60 frames per second on compatible hardware systems, and players on next-gen platforms will also experience improved load times.
The Deluxe Edition of the game includes seven iconic F1 drivers that can be used in My Team, along with exclusive customization content, 18,000 PitCoins and a Braking Point Content Pack.
F1 2021 has a recommended price of 250 lei.
