Excerpt from Wes Anderson’s French Gazette from Cannes Film Festival

Within the framework of the Cannes Film Festival, Wes Anderson (“Island of Dogs”, “The Grand Budapest Hotel”) presented his new work “French Bulletin”. The picture was greeted with applause, and a short excerpt of the picture was published on the Internet.

The premiere of the film is scheduled for October 28 in Russia.

The film will tell three microplots about the representation of an American newspaper in Paris in the 20th century. The main roles in the film will be played by Benicio Del Toro, Bill Murray, Adrian Brody, Tilda Swinton, Frances McDormand, Timothy Chalamet, Jeffrey Wright, Lea Seydoux, Owen Wilson, Mathieu Amalric, Lina Curdry and Stefan Park.

Anderson co-wrote the screenplay for the French Gazette with Roman Kopolla (Isle of Dogs), Jason Schwartzman (Isle of Dogs) and Hugo Guinness (Hotel Grand Budapest).
