The gameplay consists of battles between two teams, each having 15 participants at their disposal. The condition for victory is the destruction of the entire enemy unit, or the capture of the opponent’s base. In the “Assault” mode, one of the sides must repulse the attack of the opponents and hold the position. “Encounter battle” implies the capture of a control point, and “Team battle” takes place between the two sides of the conflict, 7 people each, using equipment exclusively up to level 8, where the personal rating system operates.
World of Tanks has 9 battle modes:
Random (standard, counter, assault or general engagement);
Ranked;
Strongholds (sorties, offensives);
Special (tournaments, clan battles);
Expedition (front line, steel hunter);
Fight;
Road to Berlin;
Training;
Training ground.
Most of the maps are presented in the size of 1000×1000, but there are rare exceptions, in the form of locations of a smaller area, such as Enks.
For virtual currency “game gold” you can buy premium vehicles, significantly speed up your progress in the game, and also get the “Elite” status.
