While the society is using drugs, three quiet rebels manage to break the chastity and enthusiasm of the entire city. We play as one of three characters, sometimes changing leadership to another. Each of them has its own history, character traits, weaknesses and motives to do this or that action. The main goal of all of them is to escape from the city, and this can be done only by substituting the police, disfiguring the city.
Germany occupying England brings Joy – Radostin – to people who refuse to live by the rules in a sober state. The protagonist becomes a “Refuser”, he does not accept “Radostin”. The police catch them and force them to take drugs in order to return them to a healthy, normal society.
Arthur Hastings – the protagonist – works as a journalist clerk who only edits submitted material. At one point he reads a new issue of the newspaper, where he stumbles upon an article about himself and his older brother. Having thrown out the last “joy”, he becomes a refusenik, and his colleagues drive him into a dungeon, from which it is possible to get out of the city halls.
The main goal of the character is to find all suitable items that will help you get out of the city. Therefore, the basis of the game is a search for objects, escape from the police and other townspeople, who can easily recognize the “objector”. If you become a victim of suspicion, you can easily take the “joy” pills and not be noticed. The player will have his own house in the cave, where he can rest, craft the necessary items and continue looking for a way out.
